What we collect

Only what you send us. The estimate form asks for your name, how to reach you, your project details and, if you choose, photos of the space. The newsletter asks for your email address and, optionally, your name.

When you sign up for the newsletter we also keep the wording of the box you ticked, and the time and internet address of your sign-up and confirmation, as a record that you asked to hear from us.

This site uses no analytics and sets no cookies.

How we use it

Estimate requests go to David (tile) or Justin (flooring) so they can reply and quote the job. Newsletter addresses are used only to send the occasional email you signed up for. We do not sell or share your information with anyone for their own use.

Who handles it for us

Netlify hosts this website and stores estimate requests, photos and the newsletter list. Postmark delivers our emails, including your copy of an estimate request and the newsletter. Acuity Web Labs, which built and looks after this website, can see this information to keep the site working and keeps backup copies; it does not use it for anything else.

Netlify and Postmark may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of that country.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and it works straight away. You can also ask us by email or phone.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email or call us and we will tell you what we hold about you, fix anything that is wrong, or delete it.
